Patchogue-Medford High School
This show was my first show at Patchogue-Medford High School. I was a lighting technician who was responsible for working with the lighting board and training under our lighting designer, independently running the cues that our designer wrote. I assisted with programming and ran show cues and while also adjusting follow-spot light levels from the booth.

Oregon Middle School
After I moved up to the high school, there was significant turnover in the stage crew, and I was asked to return to help train and mentor the newer members. I also assisted with organizing files and creating diagrams and charts to streamline the production process. Patchogue-Medford has since upgraded lighting software across the middle schools and high school to industry-standard systems. These organized files made the previously more complex lighting boards much easier for younger students to operate.

For the 2024 production of The Prom, I performed in the pit orchestra on Alto Saxophone, which gave me a deeper understanding of the musical skills and coordination required to support a theatrical performance.

Oregon Middle School
I applied my prior stage crew experience to support my middle school’s production this year by assisting the sound operator. I also programmed and created a QLab file to streamline playback while helping to train stage crew members.

Patchogue-Medford High School
During the 2025 musical season, I took on expanded responsibilities. In addition to performing in the pit, I used my photography skills to create publicity content for our Instagram page. I also formatted the pre-show slideshow, compiling ads, video commercials, publicity photos, and senior and staff shoutouts.

I was asked to handle designing and programming lighting for the Spanish Theatre production, where I independently operated the board and designed all of the show’s lighting looks. It was a valuable opportunity to return to the lighting booth and further develop my skills.

Patchogue-Medford High School
After returning to stage crew for the 2026 production, our directors prioritized maintaining an organized and efficient backstage environment. I helped create inventories and track all props and tools for both the current production and future shows.
I also served as a student producer and stage manager, overseeing rehearsals, assisting with administrative tasks, designing promotional materials and pre-show slideshows, calling cues, and supervising each performance during the run.
